Science project, religion project, and Hammurabi project
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research means finding facts about your topic, and compiling them into a report
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
When I did a religion project, I put it off researching until the last day. Then I spent all night making my religion project. The experience was a negative one because I had to spend my whole evening finishing the project.

2. Why you chose it: I wanted to know why the Romans were so successful on the battlefield
3. What you already know about your topic: A legionary is a basic Roman heavy infantry unit that was usually armed with a tower shield, two javelins, a short sword, a dagger, and heavy amour. 4 - Pre-Notetaking Activity-Tues. April 8
1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic: Why were the Romans so successful on the battlefield?(fat) Which of their technologies advanced over time? What battle tactics did they use? What were their different types of units? Update: What are legions? What armor did the troops use? What were their specialty troops? Please make more skinny questions. They will help your research process go easier.
